Chasing Zen Quarterly Newsletter

Incredibly Grateful

When I decided to start my business last year, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Thank you for showing up for me! If you scheduled a service, talked about Chasing Zen to a friend or encouraged me to go for it, please know I am forever thankful!

Special shoutout to Vicki and the community at Path Yoga Therapy. The support you all have shown is immeasureable.

Service Spotlight

Cupping therapy, also known as cupping or suction cup therapy, is an ancient alternative medicine technique that involves placing cups on the skin to create suction.

What to expect:

Sensation: When the cups are placed, you'll feel a mild pulling. It may be strong but shouldn't hurt. The aim is to boost blood flow, ease tension, and help healing.

Movement: During a cupping massage, the therapist may slide the cups over your muscles to help you relax and reduce tension.

Marks: A common result of cupping is round marks or bruises on your skin. These are from the suction and usually fade within a few days. They're generally not painful but can appear like light bruises.

Relaxation: After cupping, you might feel very relaxed as blood flow increases and muscle tension decreases. Many also feel relief from chronic pain or stiffness, particularly in the back or shoulders.

Review all services here or schedule your cupping massage on the booking page.
